The Squier Bullet Strat is one of the most popular beginner guitars around and for good reason. It's got the classic look and sound of a Strat with the singlecoil pickups which give you that twangy sound and a comfortable C-shaped neck which makes it very easy to play. This Hardtail version makes it even easier to play because it hasn't got the distraction of a whammy bar (or sometimes called tremolo arm) which allows you to make the notes quiver and dip in pitch. The hardtail means you can just focus on playing and learning the guitar and not worry about trying to control a whammy bar too. It's also more stable when it comes to tuning too because the strings are in the same place in the body of the guitar. The rosewood fretboard is a classic element on a strat and gives you a warm, rich tone especially when you play with a bit of distortion or overdrive. This is a simple, but effective guitar design and half o the guitar world have probably learned to play on a Squier Bullet model.
