Traditional Style

One of the things that made PRS stand out when they launched in 1985 was the 25" scale length this meant you could get a feel and level of playability that wasn't available before in production guitars. Not everyone is a fan of that and some people like a shorter more traditional singlecut scale length. That is where the 245 comes in, with a 24.5" scale length you can get around this neck a lot easier with a bit less string tension.

If tradition is what you are after than this may be the right guitar for you. Made with a maho gany body and neck that has PRS's signature 'Wide Fat' profile for those who like to dig in to a chunkier neck. If you want to rock with this guitar you can or if you want to mellow it up you can do so with ease without having to worry about any loss in quality.
