Description :

The Hughes & Kettner Coreblade guitar amp head offers all-tube sound with some distinctly modern features. Three independent digital FX processors can be used on each channel, programmable potentiometers allow settings to be stored in 128 memory slots and presets can be downloaded directly to USB sticks. At the same time you get tough tone, untamed dynamic response and an explosive punch.

Two of the Coreblade's four channels are voiced to offer completely different high-gain alternatives. The versatile Drive channel provides classic early metal sounds while the Clean channel has tons of headroom so even the most aggressive attack is rendered with sparkle and chime. Boost is separately switchable and the remarkably musical IDB noise gate is available for all channels.

Maintenance-free operation is ensured thanks to the Tube Safety Control (TSC) feature. It automatically biases the amp to extend tube life, shuts down defective tubes to get you through the gig and indicates ratings to make tube selection easier. It also allows you to use EL34 and 6L6GC power tubes simultaneously.
