Through feedback, extensive research, analysis and development, Yamaha has managed to create a new scalloped bracing pattern. the new pattern allows for more volume, more projection, increase in the low end and a bigger tone, the bracing also allows the resonance of the guitar to sit closer to the middle resulting in a bigger impact on both tone and play-ability.

Yamaha FS Series
The FS series of acoustic guitars from Yamaha offer compact versions of their guitars. With their short scale and auditorium bodies, the FS series can deliver a tight sound that provides perfect articulation to allow for intricate playing style. Also the FS series are designed after their flagship LS models whilst borrowing specifications from their legendary FG series to produce an excellent and exciting range of guitars.
