The 6-string X Series 000X1AE electro-acoustic guitar features the 000 platform, a smaller body design than the traditional Dreadnought, producing a full, robust sound. Pairing the Sitka spruce top with the HPL back and sides, the 000X1AE has a rich clarity and plenty of projection. The guitar's stratabond neck is a multilayered wood creation, formed from bonding layers of wood under extremely high pressure. The material is then carved and finished in a conventional manner. The end result is a very strong neck that provides definition and articulate sustain from note to note.

The Martin 000X1AE guitar features proven Sonicore pick-up technology with the Fishman Sonitone system featuring "easy access" volume and tone controls conveniently and strategically located just inside the sound hole.
