The compressor can sound like a vintage Dyna Comp or Ross compressor, but is much more versatile, having a Tone control (which can be turned on or off) and a clean-boost pre-amp controlled by the Gain knob. The overdrive channel is designed to accurately reproduce the sound of the TS-808 Tubescreamer, but with a Bass Boost switch and far more output volume than the original. V2 series housing plus stomp switches designed by Bob Weil himself -- and an all-new, noise-free experience -- this version of the Route 66 has raised the bar for years to come.
