The Jansen Jazzman is more than a pretty face - behind the ultra-funky retro styling is an extremely versatile guitar. The three single coil pickups have their own sound, a fairly agressive, loud, spikey pickup, and between the pickup selection, bass cut switch, and Entwhistle designed rotary five position tone switch you can get a very wide variation of sounds, from fat and round to ultra thin and twangy.
